Canon Pixma E3640 setup on Windows
- Power ON the Printer:
- To turn on the printer, plug in the power cord and press the Power button.
- Check the network connectivity:
- Connect the Canon E3640 to the internet. Make sure your computer and printer are on the same network connection.
- Download Drivers:
- Download the latest drivers from the link given at the bottom of the page.
- Add the printer:
- Select your Canon E3640 printer from the available list.

- Power ON the Printer:
- To turn on the printer, plug in the power cord and press the Power button.
- Connect the printer to WIFI:
- Connect the Canon E3640 to the internet. Make sure your mac and printer are on the same network connection.
- Download Drivers:
- Download the latest drivers from the link given at the bottom of the page.
- Download and install the full driver package.
- Add the Printer to Your Mac:
- Go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners (or System Preferences > Printers & Scanners for older macOS versions).
- Click the “+” button to add a printer.
- Choose Canon E3640 series from the list.
- Click Add.

- Power ON the Printer:
- To turn on the printer, plug in the power cord and press the Power button.
- Connect the printer to WIFI:
- Press on the wireless button until it starts blinking.
- Press the Black (Color) button once.
- Once more, press the Wi-Fi button. When the Wi-Fi lamp is ready to connect, it will begin to flash.
- Download the Canon print Inkjet/Selphy app:
- Go to the app store to download and install the Canon/Inkjet Selphy app.
- Connect Your Printer to Wi-Fi via the App:
- Open the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app
- Click Add Printer > Register Printer > Connect via Wireless Router.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
- When it connects, the app will automatically detect your Canon E3640.

- Power ON the Printer:
- To turn on the printer, plug in the power cord and press the Power button.
- Connect the printer to WIFI:
- Press on the wireless button until it starts blinking.
- Press the Black (Color) button once.
Once more, press the Wi-Fi button. When the Wi-Fi lamp is ready to connect, it will begin to flash.

- Power ON the Printer:
- To turn on the printer, plug in the power cord and press the Power button.
- Connect the printer to WIFI:
- Connect the Canon E3640 to the internet. Make sure your Chromebook and printer are on the same network connection.
- Add Printer on Chromebook:
- Now on your Chromebook go to the settings > advanced > print&scan > printers.
- Click Add Printer:
- Now the list of available printers appears on the screen so select the Canon E3640 printer from the available list
- Now the process is completed and the Canon E3640 is ready to print.
