Setting up the Canon E3640 on Windows:

1. Power ON the Printer:
   To turn on the printer, plug in the power cord and press the Power button.
2. Check the network connectivity:
   Connect the Canon E3640 to the internet. Make sure your computer and printer are on the same network connection.
3. Download Drivers:
   Download the latest drivers from the link given at the bottom of the page.
4. Add the printer:
   Select your Canon E3640 printer from the available list.

Setting up the Canon E3640 on Mac:

1. Power ON the Printer:
   To turn on the printer, plug in the power cord and press the Power button.
2. Connect the printer to WIFI:
   Connect the Canon E3640 to the internet. Make sure your mac and printer are on the same network connection.
3. Download Drivers:
   Download the latest drivers from the link given at the bottom of the page.
   Download and install the full driver package.
4. Add the Printer to Your Mac:
   Go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners (or System Preferences > Printers & Scanners for older macOS versions).
   Click the “+” button to add a printer.
   Choose Canon E3640 series from the list.
5. Click Add.

Setting up the Canon E3640 on IOS:

1. Power ON the Printer:
   To turn on the printer, plug in the power cord and press the Power button.
2. Connect the printer to WIFI:
   Press on the wireless button until it starts blinking.
   Press the Black (Colour) button once.
   Once more, press the Wi-Fi button. When the Wi-Fi lamp is ready to connect, it will begin to flash.
3. Download the Canon print Inkjet/Selphy app:
   Go to the app store to download and install the Canon/Inkjet Selphy app.
4. Connect Your Printer to Wi-Fi via the App:
   Open the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app
   Click Add Printer > Register Printer > Connect via Wireless Router.
   Follow the on-screen instructions to select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
   When it connects, the app will automatically detect your Canon E3640.

Setting up the Canon E3640 on Chromebook:

1. Power ON the Printer:
   To turn on the printer, plug in the power cord and press the Power button.
2. Connect the printer to WIFI:
   Connect the Canon E3640 to the internet. Make sure your Chromebook and printer are on the same network connection.
3. Add Printer on Chromebook:
   Now on your Chromebook go to the   settings > advanced > print&scan > printers.
4. Click Add Printer:
   Now the list of available printers appears on the screen so select the Canon E3640 printer from the available list
   Now the process is completed and the Canon E3640 is ready to print.

Setting up the Canon E3640 on Android:

1. Power ON the Printer:
   To turn on the printer, plug in the power cord and press the Power button.
2. Connect the printer to WIFI:
   Press on the wireless button until it starts blinking.

Troubleshooting Steps:

Basic Troubleshooting steps for Canon E3640 printer are:

1. Check the power:
   Check the printer plug and the wall outlet both are securely connected.
2. Check the cartridges:
   Make sure the ink cartridges are placed correctly. Also, make note that there is enough ink and that the cartridges fit the model of your printer.
3. Check paper:
   If the papers are not arranged correctly, take out the paper tray and straighten them up. Make sure there are no jams in the printer. You can now shut off the paper tray.
4. Check Wi-Fi Connection:
   Ensure that your printer and device are connected to the same network.
5. Make sure that the WIFI connection is stable.
6. If Print Quality is poor:
   On your computer, use the Canon PRINT app or printer software.
