Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX 4735i is an A3 monochrome laser multifunctional printer. It is able to Print, Copy, Scan, Send, Store and Optional Fax. Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX 4735i has Authentication and Access Control. It is an environmentally friendly and low power consumption printer.

Unboxing & Initial Setup
- Take the printer out of the box.
- Take out all the accessories and remove the packaging.
- Remove and discard the protective tape from outside and inside.
- Connect the power cord to turn the printer on.
- Install the toner cartridges.
- Load paper into the paper trays.

Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX 4735 setup on Windows
Wi-Fi/Wireless:
- Prepare the printer:
- On the touchpanel select Setting/Registration.
- Select Login.
- Click on Administrator.
- Enter PIN.
- Click on login.
- Select device settings.
- Select Preferences.
- Select Network.
- Scroll down and choose the wireless LAN option.
- Tap wireless LAN settings.
- Choose the Other (Set manually) option.
- Tap Select Access Point.
- Now all the available networks will be displayed, select your one.
- Enter Password and your printer is connected.
- Download the Drivers:
- Download and install the driver from the bottom of the page.
- Once the installation is completed, run the installed file.
- Print the Test page:
- Print a test page to confirm the setup.
Wired/USB:
- Download the Drivers:
- Download and install the necessary drivers from the bottom of the page.
- Once the driver installation is completed, run the installed file.
- Connect the USB Cable to your printer:
- Plug the USB cable to your printer and the other end to your PC.
- Go to the settings of your PC.
- Search for bluetooth and devices.
- Click on Printers and Scanners.
- From the available printers list select your Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX 4735i.
- Print the Test page:
- Print a test page to confirm the setup.

Wi-Fi/Wireless:
- Download Drivers:
- Download the driver package from the bottom of the page.
- Once the installation is completed , run the installed file.

- Connect to the Wifi:
- Turn on your Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX 4735i.
- Make sure your Iphone/Ipad is connected to the secure internet connection.
- Ensure that your printer and device are on the same network.
- Install the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App:
- Go to the app store.
- Search for the “Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App”.
- Download and install the app.
- Add printer:
- Go to the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app.
- Now follow the on-screen instructions to add your printer.
- App will search for the available printers, Select your Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX 4735i from the available list.
- Click on Add printer.
- Print the Test page:

- Install the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App:
- Download the app from the play store.
- Add the printer on the app:
- Click on the add icon on the phone.
- Now click on the register printer.

- Now the printer is installed on your phone.
- Print the Test page:

Wired/USB:
- Connect the printer to Wifi connection:
- Choose your wifi connection from the available networks.
- Enter the password.
- Wait until the printer displays connected.
- Add Printer:
- Click the Settings icon.
- In the Settings menu, click on Advanced at the bottom.
- Click Printing and then Printers.
- Your Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX 4735i should appear in the list if it’s connected to the same Wi-Fi.
- Click Add.
- Print the Test page:

Wired/USB:
- Connect the printer to USB Cable:
- Plug the USB Cable into the printer and the other end to your Chromebook.
- Add printer:
- Click the Settings icon.
- In the settings menu, click on Advanced at the bottom.
