Overview
Canon CP1300 is a compact photo printer designed for high quality prints. It utilizes dye sublimation technology and produces high quality photos under a minute. With a 3.2 inch tilting screen, the printer has a built-in Wi-Fi, and it supports printing from smartphones, tablets, cameras, USB drives, and memory cards via the Canon PRINT app, Apple Air Print, and Morphia

Canon SELPHY CP1300 setup on Windows
- Power on the Printer:
- To turn on the printer, plug in the power cord and press the power button
- Connect the Printer to the PC
- Plug the USB cable into the printer and connect the other end to the PC
- Download Drivers
- Download and install full package from the bottom of the page
- Once installed, set the CP1300 as your default printer in “Devices and Printers.”
Canon SELPHY CP1300 setup on macOS
- Power on the Printer
- To turn on the printer, plug in the power cord and press the power button
- Connect the Printer to your Mac
- Plug the USB cable into the printer and connect the other end to your Mac
- Download Drivers
- Download and install the full driver package from the bottom of the page
- Select your macOS version from the dropdown (e.g Mac OS Ventura, Monterey, etc.)
- When the installation is complete, run the installer file and follow the onscreen instructions
- To add printer, go to System Settings > Printers and Scanners. Click the + button, and select your Canon CP1300 from your list
- If connected via Wi-Fi go to Wi-Fi Settings > Wi-Fi Setup > choose your network and enter the password
Canon SELPHY CP1300 setup on iPhone & iPad
- Make sure your Canon CP1300 printer is turned on and in range of your iOS device.
- On your iOS device, go to the App Store and search for the “Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY” app. Download and install the app on your device.
- Open the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app on your iOS device.
- Tap on the “Add Printer” option in the app.
- The app will search for available printers. Select your Canon CP1300 printer from the list of available printers.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your iOS device to the Canon CP1300 printer. This may involve entering a password or PIN displayed on the printer.
- Once your iOS device is connected to the printer, you can start printing from your device using the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app.
Canon SELPHY CP1300 setup on Android
- Download the Canon PRINT App: Install the Canon Print app from the Google Play Store. This app enables you to print photos directly from your Android device.
- Connect the Printer to Wi-Fi: On the CP1300, navigate to Wi-Fi Settings > Wi-Fi Setup > Infrastructure Mode, and connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
- Launch the App and Connect: Open the Canon PRINT app on your Android device. The app should automatically detect the printer on the same Wi-Fi network. If not, manually add the printer by entering its IP address
- Start Printing: Once connected, select photos from your device and print them using the app
Canon SELPHY CP1300 setup on Chromebook
- Power on the Printer
- To turn on the printer, plug in the power cord and press the power button
- Connect to Wi-Fi: On the CP1300, go to Wi-Fi Settings > Wi-Fi Setup and connect to your wireless network
- Enable Wi-Fi Direct (optional): You can also use Direct Connection mode if you prefer a local, device-to-device connection
- Access Chromebook Settings: On your Chromebook, go to Settings > Advanced > Printing > Printers
- Add Printer: Click Add Printer. Your CP1300 should appear in the list of available printers if it’s on the same network. Select it and follow the prompts to complete setup
- Print a Photo: Open a photo or document in your Chromebook’s Files or Photos app, select Print, and choose the CP1300
