Unboxing & Initial Setup

  1. Carefully remove the Canon TR703a from its packaging, ensuring to take off all protective materials and tapes.
  2. Open the front cover of the printer. Insert the ink cartridges into their respective slots until you hear a click.
  3. Adjust the paper guides in the rear paper tray to fit the size of the paper you will be using, then load the paper into the tray.
  4. Plug the printer into a power outlet and press the power button to turn it on.

Setting Up Canon TR703a on Windows

Step 1: Install Printer Drivers

  2. Download the latest Windows drivers and run the setup file.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Step 2: Connect via Wi-Fi or USB

  • USB connection: Connect the printer to your Windows PC using a USB cable.
  • Wi-Fi connection:
    1. Press the Wi-Fi button on the printer until the Wi-Fi light starts flashing.
    2. Follow the instructions in the setup utility to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.

Step 3: Add Printer to Windows

  1. Open Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners.
  2. Click Add a Printer or Scanner, then select Canon TR703a.
  3. Click Add Device to complete the setup.
