The Canon PIXMA TR 4522 printer supports wireless printing, which means you can print without wires or cables. Unboxing & Initial Setup

  1. Take the printer out of the box.
  2. Take out all the accessories and remove the packaging.
  3. Remove and discard the protective tape from outside and inside.
  4. Connect the power cord to turn the printer on.
  5. Install the toner cartridges.
  6. Load paper into the paper trays.

Set up Guide for (Windows):

  1. Wireless Setup (Easy Wireless Connect or Manual Connect):
    Easy Wireless Connect:
    Turn on the printer and press the Setup button.
    Select Wi-Fi setup and then press OK.
  2. Driver Downloads:
    Download the latest drivers from the link given at the bottom of the page.
  3. Manual Connect:
    Turn on the printer and press the Setup button.
    Select Wi-Fi setup and then press OK.
  4. Wireless Setup (Alternative Methods):
    Using a USB Cable (Alternative to Easy Wireless Connect):
    Download the latest driver.
    On the Preparing Printer screen, select “Alternative Methods”.
    Choose “Set up Wi-Fi connection using a USB cable” and Connect the printer to your computer with a USB cable.
  5. USB Connection:
    Connect the printer to your computer using a USB cable.
    The printer driver should be installed automatically.
  6. Installing Software:
    After connecting the printer, you may need to install the software. You can do this by running the setup file you downloaded.

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Hardware Check:
    Power: Ensure the printer is turned on and has a stable power source.
    Paper: Load paper in the correct tray and verify the paper is not jammed.
  2. Connection Check:
    Wireless: Print a network configuration page to verify the Wi-Fi connection.
    USB: Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the printer and the computer.
  3. Software Check:
