Unboxing & Initial Setup

  1. Carefully unpack the Canon TR4520 from its box and remove all protective materials.
  2. Open the front cover and insert the ink cartridges into their respective slots until they click into place.
  3. Adjust the paper guides in the rear paper tray and load the appropriate size paper (e.g., A4, letter).
  4. Plug the printer into a power outlet and press the power button to turn it on.

  1. Preparation:

Troubleshooting Steps

    • Confirm the Wi-Fi indicator on the printer is solid (not blinking)
    • Reconnect to Wi-Fi:
    • Go to Menu > WLAN Setup > Easy Wireless Connect
    • Ensure your computer/phone is on the same Wi-Fi network
    • Restart your router, printer, and devices
  2. Printing Blank Pages
    Solutions:
    • Check ink levels (replace if low or empty)
    • Run print head cleaning:
    • Use Canon IJ Utility on your computer
    • On the printer: Menu > Maintenance > Cleaning
    • Ensure paper is loaded correctly
  3. Paper Jam
    Solutions:
    • Turn off the printer
    • Open the rear cover or front tray
    • Carefully remove any jammed paper
    • Reload paper properly
  4. Poor Print Quality (Blurry or Faded Prints)
    Solutions:
    • Check ink cartridges; replace if needed
