Users can print directly from smartphones or tablets via the Canon Print app, Apple AirPrint, Mopria, or PIXMA Cloud Link. The 2-line LCD screen provides clear information and easy navigation. Its user-replaceable maintenance cartridge ensures minimal downtime, making it an ideal choice for high-volume photo printing.

Unboxing & Initial Setup
- Take the printer out of the box.
- Take out all the accessories and remove the packaging.
- Remove and discard the protective tape from outside and inside.
- Connect the power cord to turn the printer on.
- Install the toner cartridges.
- Load paper into the paper trays.

Canon G570 setup on Windows
- Unbox and Prepare the Printer
- Remove packaging materials.
- Install the print head and fill ink tanks with provided bottles.
- Load plain paper into the rear tray.
- Connect the power cable and turn on the printer.
- Download and install Drivers from the bottom of the page
- Run the installer and follow on-screen instructions.
- Choose your connection method:
- USB: Connect the printer to your PC using a USB cable.
- Wi-Fi: Use the printer’s LCD to connect to your Wi-Fi network.
- Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners.
- Click Add a printer or scanner.
- Select Canon G570 from the list.
- Open a document or image and print to verify setup.

- Unbox and Prepare the Printer
- Remove all packaging materials.
- Install the print head and fill the ink tanks with the provided ink bottles.
- Load plain paper into the rear tray.
- Connect the power cable and turn on the printer.
- On the printer’s LCD screen, navigate to Setup > Wireless LAN Setup.
- Select Easy Wireless Connect and follow the prompts to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
- Go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners.
- Click the “ +” button to add a printer.
- Select Canon G570 from the list and click Add.
- Open a document or image and select File > Print.
- Choose Canon G570 and click Print to verify the setup.

- Unbox and Prepare the Printer
- Remove all packaging materials.
- Install the print head and fill the ink tanks with the provided ink bottles.
- Load plain paper into the rear tray.
- Connect the power cable and turn on the printer.
- Connect Printer to Wi-Fi
- On the printer’s LCD screen, navigate to Setup > Wireless LAN Setup.
- Select Easy Wireless Connect and follow the prompts to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
- Open the document or image you wish to print.
- Tap the Share icon and select Print.
- Choose Canon G570 from the list of available printers.
- Adjust print settings as needed and tap Print.
Canon G570 setup on Android
- Open the Google Play Store on your Android device.
- Search for Canon Print app.
- Tap Install to download and install the app.
- Open the Canon Print app.
- Grant necessary permissions (e.g., Wi-Fi access).
- The app will detect your printer if it’s on the same Wi-Fi network.
- Follow on-screen instructions to complete the connection.
- Open a photo or document on your Android device.
- Tap the Share icon and select Canon Print app.
- Choose your printer and tap Print to verify the setup.

- Unbox and Prepare the Printer
- Remove all packaging materials.
- Install the print head and fill the ink tanks with the provided ink bottles.
- Load plain paper into the rear tray.
- Power on the Printer
- Connect the power cable and turn on the printer.
- On the printer’s LCD screen, navigate to Setup > Wireless LAN Setup.
- Select Easy Wireless Connect and follow the prompts to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
- Add Printer to Chromebook
- Click on the system tray (bottom-right corner) and select Settings.
- Scroll down and click on Advanced to expand the menu.
- Under Printing, click on Printers.
- If the printer appears in the list, click Setup beside its name.
- If not, click Add Printer, enter the printer’s IP address, and click Add.
- Open a document or image and select Ctrl + P to print.
- Choose Canon G570 from the list and click Print to verify the setup.
Troubleshooting Steps
- Check the power:
- Check the printer plug and the wall outlet both are securely connected
- Check the cartridges:
- Make sure the ink cartridges are placed correctly. There should be enough ink and cartridges should be compatible with the model of the printer
- Check paper:
- If the papers are not arranged correctly, take out the paper tray and straighten them up. There should be no jams in the printer
- Check WiFi connection:
- Ensure your printer and device are connected to the same network
- Make sure that the Wi-Fi connection is stable
- Reset the printer:
- Resetting the printer can resolve many issues
- Update printer drivers:
- If drivers are outdated, check for newer ones
