Unboxing & Initial Setup

  1. Take the printer out of the box.
  2. Take out all the accessories and remove the packaging.
  3. Remove and discard the protective tape from outside and inside.
  4. Connect the power cord to turn the printer on.
  5. Install the toner cartridges.
  6. Load paper into the paper trays.

Canon G570 setup on Windows

  1. Unbox and Prepare the Printer
  2. Remove packaging materials.
  3. Install the print head and fill ink tanks with provided bottles.
  4. Load plain paper into the rear tray.
  5. Connect the power cable and turn on the printer.
  6. Download and install Drivers from the bottom of the page
  7. Run the installer and follow on-screen instructions.
  8. Choose your connection method:
    • USB: Connect the printer to your PC using a USB cable.
    • Wi-Fi: Use the printer’s LCD to connect to your Wi-Fi network.
  9. Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners.
  10. Click Add a printer or scanner.
  11. Select Canon G570 from the list.
  12. Open a document or image and print to verify setup.

Troubleshooting Steps

  • Check the power:
    • Check the printer plug and the wall outlet both are securely connected
  • Check the cartridges:
    • Make sure the ink cartridges are placed correctly. There should be enough ink and cartridges should be compatible with the model of the printer
  • Check paper:
    • If the papers are not arranged correctly, take out the paper tray and straighten them up. There should be no jams in the printer
  • Check WiFi connection:
    • Ensure your printer and device are connected to the same network
    • Make sure that the Wi-Fi connection is stable
  • Reset the printer:
    • Resetting the printer can resolve many issues
  • Update printer drivers:
    • If drivers are outdated, check for newer ones
