Unboxing & Initial Setup

  1. Unbox the Printer:
  2. Remove the Canon G4780 and its accessories, including ink bottles, power cable, and manuals, from the box.
  3. Install the Ink:
  4. Open the ink tank compartment and carefully fill each tank with the provided ink bottles. Ensure each tank is filled correctly, following the manual’s instructions.
  5. Power On the Printer:
  6. Connect the printer to a power source, turn it on using the power button, and allow it to initialize.
  7. Load Paper:
  8. Open the paper tray, adjust the guides, and load paper into the tray.

Canon G4780 setup on Windows

  1. Download the Driver:
    • Download Driver from the below section.
  2. Run the Installer:
    • Once downloaded, run the setup file and follow the on-screen instructions to install the driver.
  3. Select Connection Type:
    • During the installation process, choose your preferred connection method (USB, Ethernet, or Wi-Fi).

    • On the printer’s control panel, navigate to Settings and select Wireless LAN Setup.
  2. Connect to Wi-Fi:

    • Set up Google Cloud Print or Apple AirPrint for seamless cloud printing.
