Unboxing & Initial Setup
- Unbox the Printer:
- Take the Canon G4770 out of the box, along with the accessories, such as ink bottles, power cable, and user manuals.
- Fill the Ink Tanks:
- Open the ink tank compartment and carefully fill each ink tank with the provided ink bottles. Follow the instructions to avoid spilling and ensure proper filling.
- Power On the Printer:
- Connect the power cable, turn on the printer, and allow it to initialize.
- Load Paper:
- Open the paper tray, adjust the guides, and load the paper.

- Run the Setup:
- Open the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to install the driver.
- Choose Connection Type:
- Select your preferred method of connection (USB, Ethernet, or Wi-Fi) during the setup.
- Access Wireless LAN Setup:
- On the printer’s control panel, go to Settings and select Wireless LAN Setup.
- Connect to Wi-Fi:
- Choose your Wi-Fi network from the list and enter the Wi-Fi password.
- Confirm Connection:
- Once connected, the printer will display a confirmation message.
- Print a Test Page:
- After installing the driver, print a test page to ensure the printer is working properly.
