Unboxing & Initial Setup
- Unbox the Printer
- Remove the Canon G4010 printer and its accessories, including ink bottles, power cable, and manuals.
- Fill the Ink Tanks
- Open the ink tank compartment and fill the four ink tanks with the provided ink bottles. Ensure to match the colors properly while filling.
- Power On the Printer
- Plug in the power cable and press the power button to turn on the printer.
- Load Paper
- Load paper into the paper tray by adjusting the paper guides to fit your paper size.

- Run the Installer:
- After downloading, run the setup file and follow the on-screen instructions to install the drivers.
- Select Connection Type:
- Choose your preferred connection method (USB or Wi-Fi) during the installation process.
- Access Wireless LAN Setup:
- On the printer’s control panel, navigate to Settings and choose Wireless LAN Setup.
- Connect to Your Network:
- Select your Wi-Fi network from the list and enter the password.
- Confirm Connection:
- The printer will display a confirmation message once connected to Wi-Fi.
- Print a Test Page:
- After completing the driver installation, print a test page to ensure the printer is working correctly.
- Mobile Printing:
- Download the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app to print directly from your smartphone or tablet.
- Auto Duplex Printing:
- Enable automatic two-sided printing from the printer settings for paper-saving functionality.
- Cloud Print Setup:
- Set up Google Cloud Print or Apple AirPrint to print from cloud services or mobile devices without the need for direct connections.
