Unboxing & Initial Setup
- Unbox the Printer: Carefully remove the Canon G2021 from its packaging, including all accessories such as ink bottles, power cable, and manuals.
- Fill the Ink Tanks: Open the ink tank compartment and fill the ink tanks (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black) using the provided ink bottles, ensuring to match the colors correctly.
- Power On the Printer: Connect the power cable to the printer and plug it into a power outlet. Press the power button to turn it on.
- Load Paper: Adjust the paper guides in the input tray and load the appropriate paper size.

- Download the Driver:
- Download Drivers from below.
- Run the Installer:
- Open the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to install the printer driver.
- Select Connection Type:
- During the installation process, choose your preferred connection method (USB or Wi-Fi).
- Access Wireless LAN Setup:
- On the printer’s control panel, navigate to Settings and select Wireless LAN Setup.
- Connect to Wi-Fi:
- Choose your Wi-Fi network from the list of available options and enter the password.
- Confirm Connection:
- Once connected, the printer will display a confirmation message.
- Print a Test Page:
- After completing the driver installation, print a test page to ensure the printer is functioning correctly.
- Mobile Printing:
- Download the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app to print directly from your smartphone or tablet.
- Enable Duplex Printing:
- Activate automatic two-sided printing in the printer settings to save paper.
- Cloud Print Setup:
- Configure Google Cloud Print or Apple AirPrint for easy printing from cloud services and mobile applications.
