Unboxing & Initial Setup
- Remove all packaging materials, including protective tapes inside and outside the printer.
- Open the ink tank covers, unseal the ink bottles , and fill the corresponding tanks carefully.
- Insert desired sheets into the rear tray and adjust the paper guides.
- Connect the power cord and press the power button to turn the printer on.

Canon MegaTank G2010 setup on Windows
- Plug the included USB cable into your PC and printer.
- Download drivers from the bottom of the page
- Launch the downloaded installer and follow on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Once installed, open “Devices and Printers,” right-click the G2010, and select “Print test page” to confirm setup.
Canon MegaTank G2010 setup on macOS
- Plug the USB cable into both the Mac and the printer.
- Download drivers from the bottom of the page
- Open the downloaded file and follow the installation instructions.
- Once installation is complete, open “Printers & Scanners” in System Preferences, select the G2010, and print a test page.
Canon MegaTank G2010 setup on Android
- Connect the power cable and turn on the printer using the power button.
- Since the G2010 is USB-only (no Wi-Fi), you can connect it using an OTG cable and USB cable if your phone supports USB printing.
- Download the Canon Print app from the Google Play Store.
- Give necessary permissions if prompted
- Print a test page to confirm normal operation
Canon MegaTank G2010 setup on Chromebook
- Connect the power cord and press the power button to turn on the printer.
- Plug the printer into your Chromebook using the USB cable.
- On Chromebook, go to Settings > Advanced > Printing > Printers.
- Click Add Printer, and select the Canon G2010 from the available devices list.
- Most Chromebooks will automatically detect the printer and install the necessary drivers.
- Once set up, open a document and select “Print” to check functionality.
