Canon G2000 is a high-yield ink tank printer designed for cost-effective, high-volume printing in home and small office environments.

Unboxing & Initial Setup
- Unbox the printer and remove all packaging materials.
- Fill the ink tanks using the supplied Canon ink bottles.
- Connect the printer to your Windows PC using the included USB cable.
- Plug in and power on the printer.

- Follow on screen instruction to complete the setup.
- Print a test page to confirm setup success.
Canon MegaTank G2000 setup on macOS
- Download drivers from the bottom of the page.
- Open the downloaded file and follow the on-screen installation steps.
- Once installation is complete, go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners on your Mac.
- Click the ”+” button to add a new printer, and select “Canon G2000” from the list.
- Set the printer as default if desired.
- Open Canon IJ Utility to align the print head for optimal output.
- Print a test page to confirm successful setup.
Canon MegaTank G2000 setup on Android
- Download the Canon Print app from Google Play Store.
- Open the app and accept permissions.
- Tap Add Printer > Register Printer > USB Connection (if using OTG).
- If the printer is connected through a shared PC, enable printer sharing on the PC and use a third-party app like Mopria Print Service.
- Mopria or Canon Print will detect the printer if compatible
- Follow the on-screen steps to finalise setup.
- Open a document, tap Print, select the G2000 printer, and adjust settings as needed.
- Tap Print to begin to ensure normal operation
Canon MegaTank G2000 setup on Chromebook
- Connect the Canon G2000 to the Chromebook using a USB cable.
- Turn on the printer.
- On Chromebook, click the time in the bottom-right corner, then go to Settings.
- Scroll down and select Advanced, then go to Printing > Printers.
- Click Add Printer.
- Chromebook should detect the Canon G2000 via USB.
- If listed, select it and click Add.
- If it doesn’t appear, click Add manually, enter a name (e.g., “Canon G2000”), and set connection type to USB.
- Choose Generic Text-Only or Canon Inkjet if a driver isn’t listed
- Once added, open any document and go to Print, then choose the G2000 as your printer.
- Test with a sample page.
