Canon MegaTank G1020 setup on Windows
- Download the Driver:
- Download the latest drivers from the link given at the bottom of the page.
- Make sure to connect your computer to the internet during the download process.
- Install the Driver:
- Double-click the downloaded and start the installation.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process.
- Connect the Printer:
- Connect the printer to your computer using the provided USB cable.
- Add the Printer:
- Add the printer by selecting “Add a printer”.
- Configure Printer Settings:
- Once the printer is added, you can access the printer driver setup window by right-clicking the printer icon and selecting “Printing preferences”.
- Network Printing (Optional):
- If you want to share the printer on a network, you can follow the instructions in the Canon user manual.
Canon MegaTank G1020 setup on macOS
- Download the Driver:
- Download the drivers from the link given at the bottom of the page and install it following the on-screen instructions.
- Connect the Printer:
- USB Connection:
- Connect the printer to your Mac using the provided USB cable.
- Wireless Connection:
- Ensure your Mac and printer are on the same wireless network. You might need to configure the printer’s Wi-Fi settings (see the printer’s manual for details).
- USB Connection:
- Add the Printer to Printers & Scanners:
- Open System Preferences on your Mac.
- Click on “Printers & Scanners”.
- Click the “+” button to add a new printer.
- Select your Canon G1020 model.
- Click “Add”.
- Verify and Print:
- Your printer should now be listed in the Printers & Scanners window.
- Select it as your default printer if desired.
- Test printing by printing a document from your Mac
Canon MegaTank G1020 setup on iPhone & iPad
iOS only support Wireless Connections
- Connect to Wi-Fi:
- Follow the printer’s instructions to connect it to your home’s Wi-Fi network.
- Ensure the printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your iOS device.
- AirPrint Setup (iOS Device):
- Open a Document: Open a document or photo on your iOS device that you want to print.
- Select Print:
- Scroll down and tap the “Print” option.
- Choose Printer:
- Select your Canon G1020 printer from the list of available printers.
- Adjust Settings:
- You can adjust print settings like paper size, quality, and number of copies if needed.
- Print:
- Tap the “Print” button to send the document to the printer.
Canon MegaTank G1020 setup on Android
- Network Connection:
- Ensure both your Android device and the Canon G1020 printer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Download Canon PRINT App:
- Download and install the Canon PRINT app from the Google Play Store.
- Add Printer:
- Open the Canon PRINT app.
- Follow the app’s instructions to add the printer..
- Printing:
- Once the printer is added, you can print from your Android device through the Canon PRINT app or by using the default printing options on your device.
