Canon GP-4600s is a 44-inch large-format printer designed to create magnificent, premium posters while ensuring that the colors of the photographs and the corporate colors are replicated accurately. It is incorporated with LUCIA PRO II pigment ink. Canon GP-4600s is known for its durability and reliability. It provides vivid corporate colors that captivate, paired with enhanced black density that brings more depth to your premium posters. Canon GP-4600s is EPEAT Gold rated and its packaging reduces 89.5% of polystyrene usage.

Unboxing & Initial Setup
- Take the printer out of the box.
- Take out all the accessories and remove the packaging.
- Remove and discard the protective tape from outside and inside.
- Connect the power cord to turn the printer on.
- Install the toner cartridges.
- Load paper into the paper trays.

Canon GP-4600S setup on Windows
Setting up Canon GP-4600s on Windows with Wifi:
- Power on the Printer:
a. To turn on the printer, plug in the power cord and press the Power button. - Connect the Printer to wifi:
a. Select wifi Connection.
b. Enter the password.
c. Press and hold the Wi-Fi button on the printer until the Wi-Fi lamp blinks.
d. Connect Canon GP-4600s to your Wi-Fi network. - Download Drivers:
a. Download and install the full driver package from the bottom of the page.
b. When the installation is completed, run the installer file and follow the on-screen instructions. - Print the Test page:
a. Print a test page to confirm the setup.
Setting up Canon GP-4600s on Windows with USB:
- Turn the printer on:
a. Plug into the power cord and press the power button to turn the printer on. - Download Drivers:
a. Download and install the full driver package from the bottom of the page.
b. When the installation is completed, run the installer file and follow the on-screen instructions. - Connect the Printer to Your PC:
a. Connect USB cable when prompted.
b. Plug the USB cable into the printer and connect the other end to your PC. - Print the Test page:
a. Print a test page to confirm the setup.

Setting up Canon GP-4600s on Mac with Wifi:
- Power on the Printer:
a. To turn on the printer, plug in the power cord and press the Power button. - Connect the Printer to wifi:
a. Select wifi Connection.
b. Enter the password.
c. Press and hold the Wi-Fi button on the printer until the Wi-Fi lamp blinks.
d. Connect Canon GP-4600s to your Wi-Fi network. - Download Drivers:
a. Download and install the full driver package from the bottom of the page.
b. Select your macOS version from the dropdown (e.g., macOS Ventura, Monterey, etc.).
c. When the installation is completed, run the installer file and follow the on-screen instructions. - Add Printer to Mac:
a. Go to system settings > Printers & Scanners.
b. Click “+” to add a printer.
c. The Mac will automatically detect the Canon GP-4600s.
d. Select it and click Add. - Print the Test page:
a. Print a test page to confirm the setup.
Setting up Canon GP-4600s on Mac with USB:
- Power on the Printer:
a. To turn on the printer, plug in the power cord and press the Power button. - Download Drivers:
a. Download and install the full driver package from the bottom of the page.
b. When the installation is completed, run the installer file and follow the on-screen instructions. - Connect the Printer to Your Mac:
a. Connect USB cable when prompted.
b. Plug the USB cable into the printer and connect the other end to your Mac. - Add Printer to Mac:
a. Go to system settings > Printers & Scanners.
b. Click “+” to add a printer.
c. The Mac will automatically detect the Canon GP-4600s.
d. Select it and click Add. - Print the Test page:
a. Print a test page to confirm the setup.

Setting up Canon GP-4600s on IOS with Airprint:
You can use AirPrint to print without downloading any app:
- Open an image, email, or document.
- Click on the share icon.
- Select Print.
- Select Canon GP-4600s from the printer list.
- Click Print.
Troubleshooting Steps
- Check the power:
Check the printer plug and the wall outlet both are securely connected. - Check the cartridges:
Make sure the ink cartridges are placed correctly. Also, ensure that there is enough ink. - Check paper:
If the papers are not arranged correctly, take them out of the paper tray and straighten them up. Make sure that the paper tray is not jammed. You can now shut off the paper tray. - Check Wi-Fi Connection:
Ensure that your printer and device are connected to the same network.
Make sure that the WIFI connection is stable. - Update the Driver:
Outdated drivers may cause problems.
Check for the latest driver updates for your printer model.
Download and install the updated driver.
