- Download the Driver and Software:
- Download the appropriate file for your Windows version.
- Connect the Printer:
- USB Connection:
- Connect the printer to your computer with a USB cable.
- Network Connection:
- Follow the on-screen instructions in the setup guide to connect the printer to your wireless network.

- Installation:
- Open the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.
- During the installation, the printer driver and software will be installed on your computer.
- Adding the Printer to Windows:
- In the settings, select “Devices,” then “Printers and scanners,” and follow the prompts to add the printer

Wi-Fi/Wireless:
- Download Drivers:
- Download the driver package from the bottom of the page.
- Once the installation is completed , run the installed file.
- Prepare the Printer:
- On the touchpanel select Setting/Registration.
- Select Login.
- Click on Administrator.
- Enter PIN.
- Click on login.
- Select device settings.
- Select Preferences.
- Select Network.
- Scroll down and choose the wireless LAN option.
- Tap wireless LAN settings.
- Choose the Other (Set manually) option.
- Tap Select Access Point.
- Now all the available networks will be displayed, select your one.
- Enter Password and your printer is connected.
- Add Printer:
- Open the system preferences > Printers & Scanners.
- Select your printer and click Add.
- Print the Test page:
- Print a test page to confirm the setup.
Wired/USB Connection:
- Download Drivers:
- Download the driver package from the bottom of the page.
- Once the installation is completed , run the file.
- Connect the USB Cable to your printer:
- Plug the USB cable to your printer and the other end to your Mac.
- On your Mac click on the system preference option.
- Now click on Printer and Scanners.
- The available printers list will appear on the screen, select your Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE 4251i.
- Print the Test page:
- Print a test page to confirm the setup.

- Connect Printer to Wi-Fi:
- Make sure the printer is turned on.
- Follow the instructions in the printer’s manual to connect it to your Wi-Fi network.
- Download and Install Canon PRINT:
- Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad.
- Search for “Canon PRINT” and download and install the app.
- Register Printer in Canon PRINT:
- Open the Canon PRINT app.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to register your printer. This usually involves tapping “Register Printer” and following the prompts to connect to your printer.
- If your printer isn’t automatically found, you may need to select “If Printer Cannot be Found” and follow the instructions to manually connect.
- Test Printing:
