Canon CP900 is a compact, wireless photo printer designed for high quality, lab like prints, whether for home or at office. It is loaded with dye sublimation technology. With a built-in Wi-Fi, it allows seamless printing from smartphones, tablets, and computers without cables. With an appealing 2.7 inch tilt up screen, make image selection and editing easier.

Manuals & Guides
Canon SELPHY CP900 setup on Windows
- Install paper and ink cartridge according per instructions in the user manual
- Connect to Wi-Fi:
- On the printer, go to Wi-Fi settings > Connect to access point
- Select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password
- Driver download links are available at the bottom of the page
- Run the setup file and follow on-screen instructions to install the necessary drivers.
- When prompted, select wireless connection as the setup option
- Ensure your Windows PC is on the same Wi-Fi network as the printer
- Once installation is complete, go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers to confirm the printer appears
- Test print a photo to verify the printer is running normally
Canon SELPHY CP900 setup on macOS
- Turn the printer on and access Wi-Fi Settings from the main menu
- Choose Connect to Access Point, select your Wi-Fi network, and enter the password
- Download links are available at the bottom of the page
- Install the driver package by opening the downloaded file and following on-screen instructions
- Ensure that your Mac is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the printer
- Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners, then click the “+” button to add a new printer
- Select Canon CP900 from the list of available printers
- Click Add, and Mac will install it automatically
- Print a test photo to confirm normal operation.
Canon SELPHY CP900 setup on iPhone & iPad
- Turn on the CP900 printer
- Load photo paper and ink cartridge as per the user manual.
- On the printer, go to Wi-Fi Settings > Connect to Access Point
- Select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password to connect.
- On your iPhone/iPad, open Settings and connect to the same Wi-Fi network as the printer
- Go to the App Store and download the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app
- Open the app and allow necessary permissions such as access to photos, Wi-Fi etc
- The app will automatically search for and detect the CP900. If there is no detection, tap the “+” sign in the app and manually select your printer from the list.
- Choose a photo from your iOS device’s gallery within the app.
- Tap Print, adjust print settings such as paper size, layout, etc. and confirm smooth operation
Canon SELPHY CP900 setup on Android
- Turn Canon CP900 on
- Insert photo paper and ink cartridge as per instructions in the user manual.
- On the printer, go to Wi-Fi Settings > Connect to Access Point.
- Select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password to connect the printer.
- On your Android device, go to the Google Play Store and download the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app
- Open the app and grant necessary permissions such as storage, and location
- Make sure your Android device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the printer
- Launch the app. It should automatically detect the CP900
- If the printer is not automatically detected, tap the “+” to manually add the printer from the network list
- Select photos from your gallery within the app
- Tap print, adjust settings such as paper size, border and then hit confirm
- Print test paper to confirm normal operation
Canon SELPHY CP900 setup on Chromebook
- Turn on the CP900 printer
- Load photo paper and ink cartridge as per the user manual
- On the printer, go to Wi-Fi Settings > Connect to Access Point.
- Connect the CP900 to your Wi-Fi network by selecting it.
- The next step is to enter the password
- Ensure the Chromebook is on the same Wi-Fi network as the printer
- Open the Chrome browser on the Chromebook.
- Type
chrome://devicesin the address bar and hit Enter - Under “New Devices,” your CP900 should appear
- Click Register next to the printer to add it
- If prompted, follow any on-screen steps to complete the setup.
- To print, open a photo or document, press Ctrl + P, and select the CP900 from the list.
- Click Print to test.
