WIFI Setup
- Power on the Printer:
a. To turn on the printer, plug in the power cord and press the Power button. - Connect the Printer to wifi:
a. Select wifi Connection.
b. Enter the password.
c. Press and hold the Wi-Fi button on the printer until the Wi-Fi lamp blinks.
d. Connect Canon C3525i to your Wi-Fi network. - Download Drivers:
a. Download and install the full driver package from the right sidebar of the page.
b. When the installation is completed, run the installer file and follow the on-screen instructions. - Add the Printer to Windows:
a. Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
b. Click Add Printer.
c. If not found, Select “The printer that I want isn’t listed”.
d. Choose “Add a printer using an IP address”.
e. Enter the printer’s IP address (find it in Settings > Device settings > LAN settings > IPv4 settings).f. Now click Next and wait while Windows detects the printer. - Print the Test page:
a. To make sure it’s functioning, try printing a test page from Word or Notepad.
USB Setup (Wired Setup):
- Power on the Printer:
a. To turn on the printer, plug in the power cord and press the Power button. - Connect the Printer to Your PC:
a. Connect USB cable when prompted.
b. Plug the USB cable into the printer and connect the other end to your PC. - Download Drivers:
a. Download and install the full driver package from the right sidebar of the page.
b. When the installation is completed, run the installer file and follow the on-screen instructions. - Print the Test page:
a. To make sure it’s functioning, try printing a test page from Word or Notepad.

Wi-Fi/Wireless:
- Power on the Printer:
a. To turn on the printer, plug in the power cord and press the Power button. - Connect the Printer to wifi:
a. Select wifi Connection.
b. Enter the password.
c. Press and hold the Wi-Fi button on the printer until the Wi-Fi lamp blinks.
d. Connect Canon C3525i to your Wi-Fi network. - Get the Printer’s IP Address:
a. On the printer go to Settings/Registration > Network > TCP/IP Settings > IPv4 Settings > IP Address.
b. Note this IP address — you’ll need it for setup on your Mac. - Download Drivers:
a. Download and install the full driver package from the right sidebar of the page.
b. Select your macOS version from the dropdown (e.g., macOS Ventura, Monterey, etc.).
c. When the installation is completed, run the installer file and follow the on-screen instructions. - Add Printer to Mac:
a. Go to system settings > Printers & Scanners.
b. Click “+” to add a printer.
c. The Mac will automatically detect the Canon C3525i.
d. Select it and click Add. - Print the Test page:
a. To make sure it’s functioning, try printing a test page from Word or Notepad.
Wired/USB Connection:
- Power on the Printer:
a. To turn on the printer, plug in the power cord and press the Power button. - Connect the Printer to Your Mac:
a. Connect USB cable when prompted.
b. Plug the USB cable into the printer and connect the other end to your Mac. - Download Drivers:
a. Download and install the full driver package from the right sidebar of the page.
b. When the installation is completed, run the installer file and follow the on-screen instructions. - Add Printer to Mac:
a. Go to system settings > Printers & Scanners.
b. Click “+” to add a printer.
c. The Mac will automatically detect the Canon C3525i.
d. Select it and click Add. - Print the Test page:
a. To make sure it’s functioning, try printing a test page from Word or Notepad.

- Turn on the Printer:
a. To turn on the printer, plug in the power cord and press the power button. - Connect the Printer to wifi:
a. Select wifi Connection.
b. Enter the password.
c. Press and hold the Wi-Fi button on the printer until the Wi-Fi lamp blinks.
d. Connect Canon C3525i to your Wi-Fi network. - Install the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App:
a. Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad.
b. Search for “Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY”.
c. Tap Download and install the app. - Add Printer:
a. Click on the “+” icon (usually at the top or bottom of the screen) to add a printer.
b. App will search for printers on your Wi-Fi network.
c. Your device will automatically detect Canon C3525i.
d. Select it and click Add. - Print the Test page:
a. To make sure it’s functioning, try printing a test page from Word or Notepad.
You can also use Air Print to print without downloading any app:
- Open an image, email, or document.
- Click on the share icon.
- Select Print.
- Select Canon C3525i from the printer list.
- Click Print.

- Turn on the Printer:
a. To turn on the printer, plug in the power cord and press the power button. - Connect the Printer to wifi:
a. Select wifi Connection.
b. Enter the password.
c. Press and hold the Wi-Fi button on the printer until the Wi-Fi lamp blinks.
d. Connect Canon C3525i to your Wi-Fi network. - Install the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App:
a. Open the Play Store on your Phone.
b. Search for “Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY”.
c. Tap Download and install the app. - Connect Printer to Wi-Fi Using App:
a. In the Canon PRINT app, click “Add Printer”.
b. Select “Register Printer” > “Connect via Wireless Router”.
c. App will automatically detect your printer.
d. Choose your Wi-Fi network and enter the password to connect. - Print the Test page:
a. To make sure it’s functioning, try printing a test page from Word or Notepad.

Wireless/Wifi Connection:
- Power on the Printer:
a. To turn on the printer, plug in the power cord and press the Power button. - Connect the Printer to wifi:
a. Select wifi Connection.
b. Enter the password.
c. Press and hold the Wi-Fi button on the printer until the Wi-Fi lamp blinks.
d. Connect Canon C3525i to your Wi-Fi network. - Get the Printer’s IP Address:
a. On the printer, go to Settings/Registration > Network > TCP/IP Settings > IPv4 Settings.
b. Note the IP address you will need in the Chromebook setup. - Add Printer:
a. Click the Settings icon.
b. In the Settings menu, click on Advanced at the bottom.
c. Click Printing and then Printers.
d. Click the Add printer option to connect the Printer.
e. Your Canon C3525i should appear in the list if it’s connected to the same Wi-Fi.
f. Click Add. - Download Drivers:
a. Download and install the full driver package from the bottom of the page.
b. When the installation is completed, run the installer file and follow the on-screen instructions. - Print the Test page:
a. To make sure it’s functioning, try printing a test page from Word or Notepad.
Wired/USB Connection:
- Power on the Printer:
a. To turn on the printer, plug in the power cord and press the Power button. - Connect the Printer to Your Chromebook:
a. Connect USB cable when prompted.
b. Plug the USB cable into the printer and connect the other end to your Chromebook. - Add Printer:
a. Click the Settings icon.
b. In the Settings menu, click on Advanced at the bottom.
c. Click Printing and then Printers.
d. Click the Add printer option to connect the Printer.
e. Your Canon C3525i should appear in the list if it’s connected to the same Wi-Fi.
f. Click Add. - Print the Test page:
a. To make sure it’s functioning, try printing a test page from Word or Notepad.
