It delivers high image quality with an outstanding print output from cost effective, reliable devices and advanced colour management tools for consistency and quality control. Canon imagePRESS C270 includes McAfee Embedded Control software, encrypted SSD and TPM 2.0, to help safeguard against potential data loss.

Unboxing & Initial Setup
- Take the printer out of the box.
- Take out all the accessories and remove the packaging.
- Remove and discard the protective tape from outside and inside.
- Connect the power cord to turn the printer on.
- Install the toner cartridges.
- Load paper into the paper trays.

WIFI Setup
- Prepare the printer:
- Click on the settings from the touch panel.
- Select network settings.
- Tap Wireless LAN settings.
- Select yes to enable Wireless LAN.
- Select SSID Settings.
- Select Access point.
- Choose your network from the screened list.
- Enter password and your printer is connected.
- Download the Drivers:
- Download and install the driver from the right sidebar of the page.
- Once the installation is completed, run the installed file.
- Print the Test page:
- Print a test page to confirm the setup.
USB Setup (Wired Setup):
- Download the Drivers:
- Download and install the necessary drivers from the right sidebar of the page.
- Once the driver installation is completed, run the installed file.
- Connect the USB Cable to your printer:
- Plug the USB cable to your printer and the other end to your PC.
- Go to the settings of your PC.
- Search for bluetooth and devices.
- Click on Printers and Scanners.
- From the available printers list select your Canon imagePRESS C270.
- Print the Test page:
- Print a test page to confirm the setup.

Wi-Fi/Wireless:
- Download Drivers:
- Download the driver package from the right sidebar of the page.
- Once the installation is completed , run the installed file.
- Prepare the Printer:
- Click on the settings from the touch panel.
- Select network settings.
- Tap Wireless LAN settings.
- Select yes to enable Wireless LAN.
- Select SSID Settings.
- Select Access point.
- Choose your network from the screened list.
- Enter password and your printer is connected.
- Add Printer:
- Open the system preferences > Printers & Scanners.
- Select your printer and click Add.
- Print the Test page:
- Print a test page to confirm the setup.
Wired/USB Connection:
- Download Drivers:
- Download the driver package from the right sidebar of the page.
- Once the installation is completed , run the file.
- Connect the USB Cable to your printer:
- Plug the USB cable to your printer and the other end to your Mac.
- On your Mac click on the system preference option.
- Now click on Printer and Scanners.
- The available printers list will appear on the screen, select your Canon imagePRESS C270.
- Print the Test page:
- Print a test page to confirm the setup.

- Connect to the Wifi:
- Turn on your Canon imagePRESS C270.
- Make sure your Iphone/Ipad is connected to the secure internet connection.
- Ensure that your printer and device are on the same network.
- Install the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App:
- Go to the app store.
- Search for the “Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App”.
- Download and install the app.
- Add printer:
- Go to the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app.
- Now follow the on-screen instructions to add your printer.
- App will search for the available printers, Select your Canon imagePRESS C270 from the available list.
- Click on Add printer.
- Print the Test page:
- Print a test page to confirm the setup.

- Install the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App:
- Download the app from the play store.
- Add the printer on the app:
- Click on the add icon on the phone.
- Now click on the register printer.
- Select your Canon imagePRESS C270.
- Now the printer is installed on your phone.
- Print the Test page:
- Print a test page to confirm the setup.

Wireless/Wifi Connection:
- Connect the printer to Wifi connection:
- Choose your wifi connection from the available networks.
- Enter the password.
- Wait until the printer displays connected.
- Add Printer:
- Click the Settings icon.
- In the Settings menu, click on Advanced at the bottom.
- Click Printing and then Printers.
- Your Canon imagePRESS C270 should appear in the list if it’s connected to the same Wi-Fi.
- Click Add.
- Print the Test page:
- Print a test page to confirm the setup.
Wired/USB Connection:
- Connect the printer to USB Cable:
- Plug the USB Cable into the printer and the other end to your Chromebook.
- Add printer:
- Click the Settings icon.
- In the settings menu, click on Advanced at the bottom.
- Click Printing and then printers.
- Click on the Add Printer option.
- Your Canon imagePRESS C270 should appear in the list if it’s connected to the same Wi-Fi.
- Click Add.
- Print the Test page:
