INSTALLATION GUIDE: For installing Canon MG2577s you can follow the following steps:-

Plug-in the power cord off to the side of the printer.

  1. Add the cartridges to the printer. The coloured cartridge goes to the left and the
    black and white cartridge goes to the right.
  2. Now connect the USB cord with your PC or laptop.
  3. Insert the Printer Driver Software CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive.
  4. Double-click the [My Computer] icon -> the CD-ROM drive icon.
  5. Double-click the following folders: [PCL] or [UFRII]
  6. Double-click the [Setup.exe] icon to start the installation process.
  7. In the first dialogue box of the PCL or UFR II Printer Driver Setup Wizard, click [Next].
  8. Read the license agreement carefully. If you agree to the terms -> click [Yes].
  9. Select [Manually Set Port to Install] -> click [Next].
